From time to time we are presented a written request for reference regarding rental history of a former tenant. These requests typically come from future landlords, mortgage companies, credit bureaus, etc. then such information may be disclosed based on historical records kept provided written permission has been granted by the former/current tenant to release such information. The information most often requested is tenants timliness of rent paid, condition of the premises upon vacating, length of occpancy and compliance with lease terms.
